HitLab NZThe HIT Lab NZ at the University of Canterbury is a leading center for Human Interface Technology, and Augmented Reality development and research. More than 40 staff and students are conducting research in a wide range of areas including Visualization, Next Generation Teleconferencing, Augmented Reality and Interaction Design. Augmented Reality (AR) is a new technology that allows virtual imagery to be seamlessly blended with live views of the real world. With the growth in high performance smart phones, AR technology can now be delivered on mobile devices.
